An accomplished Jazz Drummer who started performing in bands at the young age of 16 in Boston Nightclubs...........................................................In 1992,Mr Rob jumped into the electronic music community with the critically acclaimed cyber-pop group ZIA(fifth column records),with the now legendary Elaine Walker. With the self release of ZIA V1.5, they became an important link in the World Wired Underground along with Chemlab, Sister Machine Gun, Virus 23, and The Clay People to name a few................................................Mr Rob started the World Wired Underground Weekly at the Rat in 1994, which gave electronic bands world wide a venue in Boston including the U.S. debut of Cubanate and Ultraviolence. From 92-97 ZIA performed at every major venue in the North East and with the release of "SHEM" (Fifth Column Records) in 96', Co produced by THINK TREE(Caroline Records). ZIA did 2 U.S. tours, including an appearance at MTV Spring Break at Club LaVala in Panama City, FLA.........................................................................................Due to creative differences, Mr Rob left ZIA in 97', Quickly recorded with Bill T. Miller's "OBE" & "Orgy of Noise" who's members include Reeves Gabreles, guitarist of David Bowie and other of Boston music Higherarchy. Then moved to Philadelphia to work with a studio producer. After living in Philly For 6 months He became the G.M. of Evolution Night Club, Philly's Best After hours At Evolution, he was part of the development of Local 13's Faith Fridays and the Fruit Events which Debut Space Girl in Philly.........................................................................When he left Evolution, Mr Rob was the head booker for the 1999 North East Zen Festival and after Zen, Co Founded The Union of Underground Artists, producers of The Black House, The Purple House and the now Infamous Gods Basement Parties, who's guests have included Saundra Collins, Grant Plant, Nostrum, & Slacker to name a few............................................................................................As part of Funk Love Movement, along with Sean Deep, Mr Rob is part of the In the Woods parties, the east coast's answer to John Kelly & Moontribe's West Coast Desert Raves,where the goal is to show people the purity and beauty of Electronic Music. In the last year Mr Rob's DJ highlights have included residencies at Space, Butter, and his own Gods Basement parties, as well as performing at opening night & New Years at Motion, playing along side of Micro,X-Dream,Jon Debo,Frankie Bones,Dj Icy,Scott Henry,DJ Funk, and a dozen + of today's biggest DJ Superstars!.................................................................................. Mr Rob has DJ'd alnong side of Jimmy Van M at Cobalt Atlanta, GA as well as with Grant Plant for the Kiss party at Karma in Atlanta (Details Mag 1999 sexiest nightclub in USA). He has performed in showcases at 2 of the last 4 WMC weeks in Miami and countless other venues up and down the east coast..................................................Mr Rob is currently living in the Virgin Islands.
